Ticket terms

Racetix provides ticketing technology for participating race tracks and event organizations. The track or organization identified on the event page operates the event, sets event-specific admission and refund policies, and makes event-day decisions.

If an event-specific policy differs from these general terms, the event-specific policy controls to the extent permitted by law.

• Review the event, date, ticket type, quantity, price, and contact information before submitting an order.
• Any mandatory service fee is displayed before purchase and included in the total accepted at checkout.
• An order is complete only after payment is confirmed. A pending or failed payment does not reserve admission.

The event organizer may delay, shorten, modify, postpone, reschedule, or cancel an event when weather, track conditions, safety concerns, or circumstances outside its reasonable control make that necessary.

Unless the event-specific policy says otherwise, a postponed or rescheduled event is not eligible for a cash refund. Your original ticket and QR code will remain valid for the rescheduled event or for a future eligible event designated by the organizer. Keep the original ticket and follow the instructions sent by the organizer or displayed in your Racetix account.

If an event is cancelled without a replacement, the event-specific policy and the organizer's instructions determine whether the available remedy is a refund, credit, or alternate admission.

Refund eligibility is shown on the event page and at checkout. A final-sale ticket is non-refundable unless the organizer approves an exception or applicable law requires otherwise. When an event permits refund-review requests, submitting a request does not guarantee approval and does not change the ticket's status while review is pending.

Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method when possible. Processing time is controlled in part by the payment provider and the customer's financial institution.

Some event organizers offer discounts that require you to submit your own current credential. Racetix may check the credential locally or make it available to authorized event-organization staff for review.

Credential images are encrypted. Images sent to staff review are deleted when staff approves or declines the request. Images approved automatically are retained for up to seven days after submission and then deleted.

• Protect ticket QR codes and links. Do not post or share them unless you intend to transfer the ticket through an available transfer flow.
• Only the valid, current ticket credential will be accepted. A transferred, refunded, cancelled, or already redeemed credential may be rejected.
• Admission remains subject to the organizer's venue, safety, age, conduct, and re-entry rules.
